Old Tubes Get New Life at Alchemy Goods

Saturday May 24, 2008

Here's something cool. Alchemy Goods in Seattle takes old inner tubes and transforms them in their shop into virtually indestructable messenger bags and a number of other products.

Though the bags look like they're, well, made from inner tubes, you can't beat the good karma you get from letting those same bike tubes carry you on just a little bit farther through life. Plus the bags have cool touches like straps from old auto seatbelts, Schrader valve zipper pulls, and whatever patches and logos carried by the tube from its previous use.
