The beerbike can seat up to 16 people and is propelled by patrons who pedal away as they sit at the bar stools on the sides. With a speed of six km/hour, it is definitely a slow ride.
Part of that slowness is due to safety. You don't want drunk people falling off the side. But part if it is due to the sheer size of the thing. It weighs over a ton, with a length of 5.3 meters, a width of 2.3 meters and hgight of 2.7 meters. That works out to almost 18 feet long, 7.5 feet wide and almost 9 feet tall. A big part of that height is the roof with built-in sound system.
