Want to see the biggest races in the U.S. up close and personal, where the champions are crowned? Seventeen events in 2012 will provide professional and amateur cyclists of all ages with opportunities to race for the coveted Stars-and-Stripes jersey that signify a national championship. Check out the schedule below of national championships in a variety of cycling disciplines, all sanctioned by USA Cycling.

Jan 4-8: Cyclocross National Championships - Madison, WI

April 1: BMX National Championships - Chula Vista, CA May 4-6: Collegiate Road National Championships - Ogden, UT
May 26-28: Professional Road & Time Trial National Championships -Greenville, SC
June 20-24: Junior, U23, Paralympic & Elite Road National Championships - Augusta, GA
July 5-8: Mountain Bike Cross-Country National Championships - Sun Valley, ID
July 11-15: Juniors Track National Championships - Trexlertown, PA July 20-22: Mountain Bike Gravity National Championships - Beech Mountain, NC
July 28: Professional Criterium Championships - Grand Rapids, MI
July 31 - August 5: Masters Track National Championships - Colorado Springs, CO August 17-18: International Omnium Track National Championship - Carson, CA
Sept. 5-9: Masters Road National Championships - Bend, OR
Sept. 15: Mountain Bike Marathon National Championships - Bend, OR
Sept. 21-23: Collegiate Track National Championships - Frisco, TX
Sept. 27-30: Elite Track National Championships - TBD
Sept. 29-30: Mountain Bike 24-Hour National Championships - Colorado Springs, CO
Oct. 19-21: Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships - Angel Fire, NM
