Want to keep on top of all the Olympic bike racing events? Well, here's the complete schedule for cycling events at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, sorted by discipline.

Road Bike Racing

Road Race: Saturday, August 9th
Men: 11:00 start
Women: 2:00 pm start

Time Trials: Wednesday, August 13th
Women: 11:30 am start
Men: 1:30 pm start

Track Bicycle Racing

Track Bike events are scheduled to begin Friday, August 15 and conclude on Tuesday, August 19th.
Location: Laoshan Cycling Complex.

The track bike discipline consists of ten events:


  • Individual Pursuit - Men

  • Sprint (individual) - Men

  • Keirin - Men

  • Team Pursuit (4000m) - Men

  • Madison - Men

  • Individual pursuit - Women

  • Olympic Sprint - Men

  • Points race - Women

  • Points Race - Men

  • Sprint - Women

BMX Racing

Olympic BMX racing is scheduled for Wednesday, August 20th and Thursday, August 21st.
Location: Laoshan Cycling Complex.

Mountain Bike Racing

Olympic Mountain Bike racing is scheduled for Friday, August 22nd and Saturday, August 23rd.
Location: Laoshan Mountain Bike Course

Women: Friday, August 22nd
Men: Saturday, August 23rd
