Test, then Ride!

Once the wheel is back on, spin it hard once and allow it to turn freely to make sure the wheel is aligned properly. This means no wobbles, no rubbing against the brake pads, and that the axle is seated securely in the drop-outs, which are the slots on your frame that hold your wheels in place.

If you're clear of all these problems, now it's time to go off and ride your bike.
