"After ten multi-week trips to France my impression is that cycling is the best way to experience this most welcoming of countries."
So says Walter Judson, author of a number of guides to touring in France, and he reinforces that again with his latest work, Burgundy Explorations, available on Amazon.com in print and Kindle. The iPad version is at the Apple iTunes store.
The guidebook includes fifteen routes, with discussions of a villages, historical personalities and points of interest along the way. Plus the routes include waypoints listed along the way, tracking via traditional longitude and latitude and in digital format, which of course is very useful for cyclists with GPS-enabled smartphones.
Check out this and the other Bicycle Your France guidebooks either on Amazon or on iTunes. Print editions are 128 pages; 11" x 8.5"; English; 15 two-page color route maps; 2 single page color overview maps; 2 color town maps; 236 color photographs and illustrations.
