The month of November is when you can count on Cranksgiving rides taking place across the United States. This event - a combined bike ride and food drive - was first started by bike messengers in New York City and generally features cyclists going from store to store along a designated route and buying items for local food pantries to help those in need. Check out this list to see if there is one taking place near you. Last count showed 32 events planned for this month. And as a participant for the last seven years, I can tell you it's always a blast.
