Starting this Thursday, the Travel Channel is airing a new show called Triple Rush.
Triple Rush:
"gives you an insider's look at the chaotic workings of 3 different NYC courier companies as they battle for survival in this intensely competitive industry. We'll witness the bike messengers' hair-raising dashes through busy Manhattan streets -- speeding between cars, racing through red lights and doing battle with taxicabs -- all to earn a few dollars and support their lives in the fast lane."
Sometimes being a bike messenger seems like a dream job. You get to ride your bike all day and get paid for it. To others it may seem like a nightmare, where you have to bust your butt non-stop (not to mention risk your neck) and all for comparatively low pay.
If you have any interest in bike messengers, and what it's like to make your living delivering packages on a bike, this show will be worth checking out. 1o p.m. ET/PT.
