Reviewed: Trek Trail Wool Pants by Joneswares

Monday December 8, 2008

Joneswares is a maker of wool-based outdoor clothing. They tout the fact that wool is all natural, warm, comfortable, breatheable, and just generally beats the pants off of synthetic material for all-around performance.

We had the chance to try out Joneswares all-purpose Trek Trail pants as well as a coming-soon pair called the Urban which has a couple more cycling-specific features. I wanted to see how these wool pants, designed with hiking, skiing, etc., in mind, would perform as workaday bike commuter pants in these cold weather months.

How did the Trek Trail pants and the Urban pants perform under daily riding conditions in all types of weather? Is this something you'd want for your commute or cool weather riding? Read the review and find out.
