Reviewed: Bell Deluxe Patch-It Bicycle Tube Repair Kit
Those glueless patches sure seem appealing. No messy rubber cement - what an improvement, right? However, we had a chance to try out the Bell Deluxe Patch-It Bicycle Tube Repair Kit sold by Wal-Mart and tons of other retailers and found out that the claim that the Bell glueless patches sold in this kit are a big improvement - well, it just doesn't hold air. Unless you like changing the same flat several times, our recommendation would be to stay away. Find out why.

Yepper, I have had the same experience, though I was glad I had tried it at home before being stranded.
I had the same problem. It sounds great but I couldn’t make it work.
Geez,I bought a kit at WalMarts and
Had no problem with it till I put air in the tube. Bell has never been my favorite mfctr and I did not expect a lot from them, but I didn’t think they would put out a totally useless kit. They are the bottom of the line for everything.
Cant say much for this kit, never used it, however Park Tools has a great glueless patch kit that works great, Im a tour guide for a mountain bike park and I use it all the time. Whomever said it was easy walking a bike down a mountain obviously hasnt been to a mountain where you in the middle of a trail at the summit with no spares or patch kits. Another quick fix for sliced sidewalls is 3M Super 33 plus electrical tape, this isnt your run of the mill bargin tape but its saved a lot bikers from the push up or down the mountain.
Fixed both my sons bike and mine with these patches, by the time morning rolled around they were flat again. Worse patches I’ve ever used.
