Follow the Tour of Missouri Online - Live Streaming Video
The seven-stage, 623-mile Tour of Missouri starts today with a 90-mile stage going from St. Joseph to Kansas City. The field contains some of the world's top riders, including scorcher Mark Cavendish who took four stage wins at the Tour de France; last year's Tour of Missouri winner Georgie Hincapie; Olympians Christian Vande Velde and Dave Zabriske, plus other top pros like Danny Pate and Ivan Dominquez.
"Cavendish has been competing in and winning big races in Europe. He will be really hard to beat," said Dominquez of Toyota-United, who won two stages in the 2007 Tour of Missouri. "Maybe I can try and get him out to a bar the night before."
