Ryders Eyewear Reviewed

Tuesday June 3, 2008

I don't about you, but I have to think awfully hard before I fork out $200 for a pair of sunglasses. That just seems steep to me for a pair of lenses, especially given my track record of sitting on them, losing them in my car or stepping on them.

But what's the alternative? I know you know people who'll buy the $5.99 pairs down at the drugstore. I don't really count that as a choice. The good news is that there is an alternative to the you-know-who companies who want to charge a house payment for some specs, and Ryders Eyewear is one. I had a chance to try out some of their glasses, the Intersect Interchangeable, featuring several different lenses as well as the sleek and comfortable Slipstream glasses.

They've got an attractive price, suggested at $59.95 and $39.95 respectively. But how do they compare?

I have been using Ryders for years and they offer great glasses at great prices. I have 2 pairs and they stay in great shape and came with 3 lenses. They even fit well!
