New Belgium Brewery: Bikes Are Cool

A recent post featured a cool video that demonstrated spot-on how bike commuting can be so much fun. The clip came from New Belgium Brewery in Fort Collins, Colorado, makers of Fat Tire Ale and bike lovers in every way. I also wanted to point you to their website for information on a bunch of other really cool things ("initiatives" sounds too stuffy) they are working on which include

New Belgium also sponsors the always-awesome Tour de Fat, a celebration of the bike that is coming to a planned 11 U.S. cities in 2008. I've been to past Tours de Fat (named for Fat Tire Ale, one of New Belgium's signature brews) and had a ball. It's a family friendly affair with music, costumes, decorated bikes, bike games (I rocked the newspaper delivery boy contest) rides around town and more.
