How's That For Customer Service!

Sunday September 9, 2007

Below is an email that was posted to a cycling listserv I subscribe to. I don't know John Neugent nor have any affliation with Neuvation Wheels, but was just impressed all to heck by this example of top-notch customer service and a willingness to stand behind a product and so wanted to share it with you.

Here's the email. It's from a guy named Adam:

----

March of last year I bought some Neuvation Wheels for my road bike. I read a lot of good things about them, and even more good things about the owner of the company, John Neugent.

Last night I was out on my road bike and I had a hub failure. I send an email to John this morning (6:21am his time on the left coast), and his response just a little more than 2 minutes later was:

Adam,

Just send me your shipping address and I will send you a reconditioned wheel with a new hub flange.

Thanks,

John Neugent

Dave here again. I put this out here because I just think that's a terrific example of standing behind one's product, and that it deserves to be recognized for what it is. It's certainly a standard to aspire to.
