Haulin' Yer Junk Around

Monday May 14, 2007

Sometimes when you're riding, you've got stuff to tote. Groceries, books, your mother-in-law, whatever. And there are a lot of options, including racks, bags, baskets, panniers and more. Since January I have been using the Topeak MTX Beam Rack in conjunction with Topeak's MTX Trunk Bag for my commute.

This is a pretty nifty set-up, and offers a lot of features, including the incredibly freeing feeling that you get when you find out that bungee cords are no longer necessary. There's lots to like, including a quick-release mount to your seat post, and a click-on, click-off system that lets you take the bag with you in about two-seconds. Did I mention no more bungees?
