Do you know what five critical items to check before you get on your bike?

These simple inspections are quick and easy, but they are also the most important thing you can do to ensure your safety by keeping your bike in good working order.

An example: do you always check your tires? Here's one vulnerable to a blowout thanks to the nice little gouge on the side that has exposed the tube. It's this kind of problem that can easily go unnoticed if you aren't specifically looking.
